SS26 TOP FASHION MAGAZINE SEASON_1 ISSUE 46

When Top Fashion Magazine asked me to creatively lead the latest issue, my immediate answer was no. I knew how much work it would take. But Barbora Franekova was persistent and eventually offered me something difficult to refuse - a complete creative freedom. Working on a publication, something I had never done before, a new uncharted territory - was both exciting and exhausting. Magazines shaped me from early adolescence and were my first introduction to fashion, so the whole experience feels like a full-circle moment. I left Slovakia early in my life, so bringing together people whose work I genuinely admire felt deeply meaningful to me. I decided to call this issue NOW - a snapshot of the time we are living in: a void suspended somewhere between despair and hope.

Thank you Katharina Rudjord my muse for the past 8 years, you bring rare humanity to our collaboration. Mikina Dimunova I will never forget our first meeting in 2014!

Limited edition for everyone who took part, covering all the advertisements with white stickers. Simple act of intervention by Zuzana Spustova bringing a lot of joy and a deeper sense of now. This gesture is very characteristic of ZS - since early childhood, she has been drawn to cutting images out, making small installations, and covering, editing, or hiding the parts that resisted her eye.
